Payment & Insurance
Understanding mental health care payment options can be confusing. Intrepid Mental Wellness (IMW) uses a self-pay model, meaning you pay for services in full on the day of your appointment, with no insurance involvement.
Self-pay care offers unique benefits. It gives you more flexibility and control and enhances your privacy. You can choose a provider you trust without being restricted by insurance networks, which helps you find the best fit for your needs.
Though IMW doesn't accept insurance, we can provide a "superbill" (detailed receipt) for services. Some insurance plans might reimburse you for part of the cost. We recommend checking with your insurer before your visit to see if they accept superbills and to clarify any other questions you might have.
We know self-pay can be financially stressful, and we strive to be mindful of this. We don't schedule unnecessary appointments. The frequency of visits depends on your needs. If stabilizing symptoms or managing medication side effects, we usually see you every 4-6 weeks. Once you start improving, visits can be spaced up to every three months. You're always welcome to come in more often if needed. Your mental health journey is our priority!

Psychiatric Medication Management Intake (Required) • 60 minutes
$300 • New patient evaluation
Provider Chelsey Lahr, PMHNP-BC treats ages 18 and up
Provider Krystal Arney, PMHNP-BC treats ages 13 and up
Provider Jesse Maizels, PMHNP-BC treats ages 18 and up
Follow-Up Medication Management Appointment
$150 • Follow up, 30 minute appointment
$300 • Follow up, 60 minute appointment
Due to state and federal law, we are not able to treat patients with TRICARE or Medicaid insurance
